Is the payment process secure?

Your information is completely secure, once you have submitted the information the data is securely transferred to our payment service provider & the payment securely processed. We will not use any financial information that you have provided here for anything other than processing your donation.

How does this work?

Once you have submitted your information your payment will be processed by our secure payment processing service. One time donations through cheques will be processed on the following day of receipt of the pledge form. In case of monthly donations, your first donation will be processed immediately whereas the subsequent monthly donations will be processed between 10th and 15th of every month.

What is Monthly Giving Programme?

Monthly giving program is an inclusive approach which lends opportunity to everyone to participate in the social development. Monthly gifts are the most cost effective way to give as you can donate a given sum every month without feeling burdened.

Do I get a receipt?

For one-time donation, the Tax Exemption Certificate will be send within 10 days of realization of your donation. For regular monthly donations, a consolidated receipt will be send at the end of the financial year.

Are there any tax-benefits of donating to NLR Foundation?

All donations made to NLR Foundation are exempted under section 80G of the Income Tax Act which means that 50% of your donation amount will be eligible for tax exemption. Please use the NLR Foundation Tax Exemption Receipt to claim the same while filing your Income Tax returns. As per the recent amendment in the Income Tax Act, the existing 80G certificate of NLR India Foundation is valid till it is surrendered or withdrawn.

How do I stop a monthly donation?(Cancellation Policy)

You can choose to stop your monthly contribution anytime you wish. To do so, please call us on below-mentioned numbers

Donation Refund Policy

 NLR India Foundation, has instituted a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations as digital payments are becoming more frequent. NLR Foundation understands that all donors will ensure due care and diligence while making donations. NLR India Foundation also recognizes that a donation may be made erroneously or donors may change their mind. NLR India Foundation will examine a request for refund of donation and endeavor to make the refund. NLR  India Foundation may also seek proper explanation and reason from the donor. Also, it will require further verification of the donor and need documents of proof as well as for donation.

NLR India Foundation is not obliged to make refunds and may, in its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued. 

If you would like your donation to be refunded, you must request NLR Foundation in writing or by email for a refund at the following address within a period of 15 days before the release of tax exemption certificate: –

The refund request must contain the details following details

1. Date of Donation,

2. Amount of Donation,

3. Mode of Donation i.e. Credit Card or Online Payment

and should be communicated within 15 (Fifteen) days from the date on which donation was made i.e.: the date on which you made the donation online, electronically or through other means, or the date on which you handed over the cheque/demand draft to NLR Foundation or someone authorized by NLR India Foundation for this purpose, or the date on which you despatched the cheque/demand draft to NLR Foundation by other means.

No refund request shall be processed after 15 days of actual date of donation.

No refund request shall be entertained or processed over the phone.


The refund process may take up to 30 working days depending on the availability of the information from third parties such as Payment Gateway, Banks, etc. through which transaction is done.
